Ministries > Ushers & Greeters Ministry

Our Greeters are the first people you will encounter as you enter our church on Sunday morning before service begins.  They will greet our attendees with warmth and professionalism, handing out our weekly bulletin, while giving assistance and direction to first time visitors.  Greeters must arrive early for services, dress with a neat and clean appearance, and have a friendly demeanor.  They must focus on greeting those who are entering our facility rather than on those who are mingling inside.

Our ushers are those who assist in areas of seating, safety and keeping order inside the building.  They know our church layout thoroughly and will be able to direct and assist members and visitors as needed.  They operate in a professional manner while maintaining a level of alertness to be able to take appropriate action in any situation.  Ushers should be well groomed and dressed professionally.  Ushers need to be aware of and accommodating to the needs of the Pastor, congregation and visitors.  Other duties include setting up for tithes and offerings and serving communion elements.
